Cherry Avenue

Cherry Avenue is a Christian Country duo consisting of husband and wife Adam and Erika Catt. The two met in college at Bethel University—located, where else, but on Cherry Avenue in McKenzie, Tennessee. They first connected at a songwriting competition and quickly became friends through their shared love of songwriting, country music, and faith.

While in school, Adam and Erika traveled with their university programs, spreading the Word of God through music. What began as a songwriting partnership soon grew into a band—and eventually into love. They married in 2014 and moved to Nashville, Tennessee, where they officially formed Cherry Avenue and spent several years writing, recording, and performing country music throughout the region.

As their faith deepened, they felt a growing disconnect from the traditional country music scene. In late 2021, a Christian group based in Alabama offered Adam and Erika an opportunity to join their company and ministry. After much prayer and fasting, they felt God calling them to step out in faith. In January 2022, they sold their home in Nashville, packed up their family, and moved to Sylacauga, Alabama.

Although that arrangement ultimately did not work out, God used the season to redirect their path. Adam and Erika embraced a clear calling to Christian Country music and fully committed to that mission. After a year of hard work and dedication, Cherry Avenue now delivers a Christian Country show that is both uplifting and inspiring, featuring beloved covers alongside original songs rooted in faith and testimony.
